Since the 1980s, Jean-Paul Viguier has designed office towers and corporate headquarters, housing and hotels, train stations, museums, hospitals and shopping centers. The new Quartier de l’Amphithéâtre in Metz, the Oncopôle in Toulouse, and the McNay Museum in Texas are all part of a process of reinvention (of housing, of the tower, of the city, of the symbolism of the building), and sometimes of reconciliation (between architecture and nature, public and private, existing and contemporary).
